We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator with strong Salesforce CPQ expertise to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and enhancing the Salesforce platform while supporting sales operations through CPQ configuration and automation. This role requires close collaboration with sales, finance, and operations teams to streamline quoting processes, improve system efficiency, and ensure data integrity across integrated systems.
This is a fully remote contract opportunity, and candidates located in Dallas, Texas are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform ensuring stability, reliability, and performance.
- Manage Salesforce users including creation, deactivation, and updates of user profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules.
- Maintain data integrity through validation rules, duplicate management, and data governance best practices.
- Configure custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and Lightning components to meet business requirements.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain system security and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Automation & Process Optimization
- Design and implement workflow automation using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
- Automate business processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks for sales and operations teams.
- Document system processes, configurations, and changes for internal knowledge sharing.
- Provide support for troubleshooting issues related to workflows, automation, and system functionality.
Salesforce CPQ Administration
- Configure and maintain Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) to support the sales quoting process.
- Manage product catalogs, bundles, price books, discount schedules, pricing rules, and product configurations.
- Configure quote templates, contract settings, and renewal automation.
- Support complex pricing models including hardware, software subscriptions, licenses, and professional services.
- Optimize quote generation processes to improve speed and accuracy for sales teams.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to enhance deal workflows and approval processes.
Integration & Data Management
- Support integrations between Salesforce and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Work with integration teams to troubleshoot data synchronization issues.
- Maintain accurate data flows between Salesforce and other business applications.
- Assist with data migration, imports, and system updates when needed.
Reporting & Analytics
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track sales performance, pipeline visibility, and operational metrics.
- Provide insights to leadership teams by analyzing Salesforce data.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and support business teams with customized reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration and administration.
- Strong understanding of Sales Cloud functionality and administration best practices.
- Experience configuring Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes.
- Experience managing product catalogs, pricing rules, and quoting processes in CPQ.
- Knowledge of Salesforce data management and security models.
- Experience working with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Experience working with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Experience supporting sales operations and revenue processes.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Experience customization.
- Experience working in fast-paced consulting or contract environments.
